Our Story

A Family Diner in the Heart of the Hatfield-McCoy Trails

Owned and run by Chad and Michelle Lester, Gilbert Produce Market & Grill is more than just a place to eat — it's where our community, neighbors, and visiting trail riders all share a table.

Tucked along Route 52 in Gilbert, West Virginia, our little country diner sits right in the middle of one of the best trail systems in the country. Chad and Michelle started this place with a simple idea: serve fresh, honest food to the folks who call these mountains home — and to everyone passing through.

Some days that's a hot biscuit and gravy before the sun crests the ridge. Other days it's a double cheeseburger and fries after a long ride on the Hatfield-McCoy. And in between, neighbors stop in to grab a few tomatoes, some sweet corn, or whatever's fresh from our produce side of the shop.

We're proud to be family owned, proud to feed trail riders pulling up on side-by-sides, and proud that "small town" still means something here. Come hungry, leave full, and we'll see you next time.
